MUSICAL MEDITATION



Music is well known for its ability to enhance meditation, Don your earplugs, put on a soothing CD, rest your hearth on a pillow, close your eyes to the world, and let the song take you where it will.

Close you eyes for as little as 60 seconds and visualize a pleasurable scene. It could be a waterfall, a favorite hiking trail, a mountaintop view, the shoreline, a campfire, or simply the image of a loved one.

Slip on your headphones and listen to a piece of music you like – with your eyes closed. When you concentrate on music you enjoy, giving it your undivided attention, time begins to expand. A 3 to 4 minute song seems to last 10 minutes.
